[ Shuri clears his throat. The snapshot shows bright blue, bloodshot eyes. He sniffles hard, presses the heels of his hands into his eyes, and tries to compose himself. ]
[ His lower lip trembles. ] Mikage, he... He promised. This isn't fair. This isn't fair at all... I...
[ He flings the journal shut with one hand, taking deep, shuddering breaths to compose himself. It's not right, it's not fair, he already had to deal with this once why does it have to happen again? After they made everything better, and...
Eventually, after much stifled tears and muffled sobbing, Shuri brings the book back to him. He doesn't look at it, instead his gaze is set to a fixed location just under the book. ]
Mikage Celestine has gone home.

Oct. 3rd, 2011 11:39 pm... For those of you that knew him, Hakuren Oak has been sent home. I- [ shuri pauses slightly, looking as though he wanted to say a little more... then trails off and clears his throat. ]
A-anyway. The meeting for the Student Council is taking place this Friday. We can meet up at the school and decide if we want to hold it there or move somewhere else... Anyone and everyone who is interested is encouraged to attend. We'll be covering our mission statement for this year and introducing new members to what the council's purpose is.

First! The Student Council is recruiting. We are a group designed to make the education process more interesting for students. We're still working on picking a day for regular meetings so any input on that would be greatly appreciated.
Secondly, many of you come from worlds with school uniforms. I, myself, have often worn mine to class. We were thinking that perhaps an [ and he pauses, feeling the need to emphasize this ] optional uniform may be beneficial to students and may help them feel more relaxed in the school settings.
Ahh, but if not, then it's a good chance to show off your design skills! You may submit them here! We'll come together as a school to decide which we like the best.
Thirdly, clubs. We'd like to help students organize their own clubs so people can befriend others with shared interests. Feel free to make suggestions here to gauge interest.
Fourthly! School trips and School Festivals are in planning stages. As many of us come from different worlds with wildly different religions and cultures, we were thinking of making some Luceti-specific holidays and events so we could all celebrate together, as well as share our own holidays with the rest of the community. If you have any that you would like to have for consideration please drop a note here. I would love to hear from you.
I cannot stress enough that all of this is optional and done entirely for the benefit of the student body and for fun. If you do not feel like participating or wearing a uniform, that is entirely your choice and it will not be forced upon you!

Where's my bed, where's - [ ah! it's cold! the blonde squeaks at the sudden cold breeze and skitters back into the safety of the wall ] Teito Klein!! Where are you?! I told you to stop-- [A blond man a little shorter than Shuri walks into the frame and seems to promptly notice the communicator pointed at the two of them. He stares at it.] What are you doing?
Luceti! [ taking no mind of the other boy's question, shuri brightens considerably and tugs him closer. ] This is Konatsu! [ there's more respect in his voice than, well. there's ever been. it's only after this that he responds. ] Introducing you.
[Konatsu's expression is one of vague alarm as Shuri takes hold of him. He automatically moves to lean away from Shuri's grasp but catches himself before he does. He stands there awkwardly instead.] To everyone?
Yes! Anyway, anyway! Konatsu is the bravest person I know! He's strong and fast and he saved my life! I want to be just like him, he's realy the most ideal role model someone could have!
[This... this isn't happening. Konatsu has managed to school his expression back into neutrality but traces of surprise are still evident. A little stiffly, he offers a polite nod to the communicator.] Hello...
[ SPARKLE SPARKLE THIS WAS THE BEST IDEA EVER RIGHT. ] I'm sure he'll inspire you just as he inspires me~!
[Konatsu clearly feels that his duty has been done. He tugs at his arm again, trying to extract it from Shuri's grip.] Oak, I need to finish.

With the school year ending so soon, the Student Council [ actually just me ] has decided that since Thursday is the last day of school, we should have a party once the last class ends, to celebrate another year of Professor Raine and Professor Gelda's amazing school and the beginning of our summer freedom! We'll take over a classroom. Bring food and games from your worlds! We'll provide cake and drinks.
